St. Anne's Society was established at St. Peter's in July of 1941. Our goals are to promote Christianity, ecumenism, and works of charity. We meet four or five times a year, either at the parish hall or members' homes. We attend members' funerals with an honor guard; we also visit our shut-ins at Christmas and Easter times and visit the sick when we can. We give to the needy at Christmas (through the John Graham Shelter,) and to others throughout the year when names are brought to our attention. We have always been faithful workers of our parish. Because of dwindling numbers, and the aging of our membership, it is imperative that younger members join St. Anne's so that our legacy to St. Peter's lives on. To join, simply attend a meeting which will be listed in the bulletin or call the rectory and a member will get back to you.
