The Finance Committee meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 5p.m. The meetings are open to parishioners - come to a meeting and learn about the parish finances. The committee is responsible for preparing the budget and ensuring that St. Peter's Parish Charitable Trust remains financially sound. We review the finances and look at trends. Any large increases in costs are discussed to see if there are changes that can be made to reduce costs. Also any large financial purchases are discussed and voted on. Quarterly we put a letter in the bulletin summarizing for the parishioners what has happened in the last six months. At least once a year a statement is read from the pulpit after Mass informing the parishioners of the financial status.
